UAA! Association of Artist Anonymous invites artists to apply for the 3rd International Exhibition of miniatures Minimum Maximum 2011. on the topic of “Sexuality”.
After “Communism” and “Religion”, as the taboo of our society, this years’s theme “Sexuality” will, in the broadest sense try to raise up the issue and re-examine the attitude of the artist (and audience) towards something that is an integral part of human evolution and encompasses all phases of life, including physical, psychological and social components.
The exhibition is designed as a kind of an international artistic dialogue which raises different questions about something that is not only sex; therefore questions on sexual identity as a variable category, gender, relationships between two people (or more than two), about trust, intimacy, pleasure, about how, at the same time, we can be powerful and sensitive, where the boundaries are set and who sets them and finally, why should we review and re-define the entrenched social standards.

Call for entries:
from 10th november to 05th december of 2011.
Technical instructions:
Works are to be sent by mail, without a frame, in an envelope, with a filled application form, which can be downloaded from our site www.uaa.rs.ba. Maximal dimensions of the works are 10 x 10 cm, and for sculptures 10 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm. The number of works that an artist wants to send is not limited. Received works will not be returned and they will remain in the holdings of the international exhibition of miniatures MINIMUM MAXIMUM, under the supervision of the Association of anonymous artists UAA! Banja Luka.
